Ethics Exchange: Conversations on Behavior, Ethics and Compliance

Ethics Exchange is a discussion of timely and timeless ethics & compliance issues.

Steve Priest and Jeff Kaplan have each worked in the ethics and compliance field for more than twenty years, and have each been involved with the Ethics and Compliance Initiative (ECI), and its founding partners ECA and ERC, for nearly all that time. They have benefited greatly from the wisdom and experience of the members and others we have met at the ECA conferences. Many of the private conversations they have each had at those programs are as memorable as were the plenary and break-out sessions.

For the past few years, Steve and Jeff have shared their discussions on ECI’s community web site – ECIconnects – touching on many of the same topics that have been the subject of the private conversations at the conferences:

  • How to make E&C programs effective;
  • What are truly ethical cultures; and
  • What are the challenges of working in the field.

As part of the new day of ethics and compliance at ECI, they are publishing these dialogues in this volume.
